Resurfacing and Safety Improvements to Main Street (County Route 553/553Alt), Broadway (County Route 553Alt.) and Lambs Road (County Route 635)
From Conrail line to Woodbury Glassboro Road In the Township of Mantua & the Boroughs of Glassboro and Pitman, Gloucester County
The County of Gloucester has contracted South State Inc. to complete roadway and safety improvements along Main Street (CR 553) , Broadway (CR 553A) and Lambs Road (CR 635) in Glassboro, Pitman & Mantua Twp. Work will include milling, paving, handicap ramps and concrete repairs. The limits include: From the Conrail rail crossing near East Blvd on Main Street in Glassboro, County Route 553 to the Conrail rail crossing near West Jersey Ave on Broadway, County Route 553A in Pitman; then starting again at Holly Ave on Broadway, County Route 553A to Lambs Road, County Route 635 then continuing north on Lambs Road to south of the intersection of Woodbury-Glassboro Road, County Route 553 in Pitman and Mantua. Work is on hold due to the Governor's Freeze on Transportation Trust Fund Projects. Work will resume when the Governor lifts the ban.
Resurfacing and Safety Improvements to East Holly Avenue, County Route 624 from Broadway, CR 553A to Delsea Drive, Route 47 In the Borough of Pitman, Gloucester County The County of Gloucester has contracted with Arawak Paving Co., to complete the roadway paving and safety improvements along East Holly Avenue(CR624) in the Borough of Pitman. Work will include milling, paving, upgrade of Handicap Ramps and concrete repairs. The limits of the project are from Broadway (CR 553A) to Delsea Drive Route 47. Work is on hold due to the Governor's Freeze on Transportation Trust Fund Projects. Work will resume when the Governor lifts the ban.
